what is love

What is love

Love and relationships are one thing you must never intervene or mess with. It can mess with the most stable mind and destroy the most unstable. It can change the course of your life as well as well as others. It can create mass destruction that can allow fatal actions to be composed among society. Love is a fuck up. Growing up, you always see on T.V. and other media advertisements even at ages before basic education, that Love is something amazing. They teach you that you WILL grow up and you WILL find someone to love , and Someone WILL love you. But in some cases that is not true. As a child I always knew that I was happy, boys, self esteem and world worries did not have an effect on my life. Life was simple hard and stressful. Love was the last thing to enter my mind. It was interesting. Being a kid. Then I grew up. Learned and hated every second of it. Love is the main thing that has been taught to people and it has surely screwed with everyone. Getting to be a teenager, the word "love" was highlighted and pasted on front page in every teenage mind. It was priority over family, school and friends. Somehow it managed to take over. Its like a game to them. To keep busy with. Something new that they used to escape what they are so used to. I mean growing up from age 5 you are forced to attend school Love your family and have best friends. Then you are old enough to choose what you want your life to become and you express that through the opposite sex. Its your way of rebelling to the world and making a statement. Getting back at your parents and friends and being independent. It’s a curse among almost ever teenager in the world. The word love is a strong word but used lightly in the 21 century. It’s a word to express almost any sort of happiness, but it has become a language of its own. One word can mean so many things and we have taught ourselves to understand it. Amazing how passing a language class in school can be so difficult but a language that consists of simply one word is outrageous! Love can mean friendship, family, a thank you, word of reassurance. Love can mean im sorry, it can even be used as a sarcastic remark. Then the traditional "I love you" is hardly used now a days. It is used when you have a feeling that overpowers and overcomes all others. That one word can mean everything you have and will ever want to say to someone. It says you want to spend the rest of your life with them, you want to grow old with them, you want to feel them in your arms, you want to be there for them and take your life for them. Love is your life. It is a word that should only be said if meant. It should be a word that should be one scarcely used. It’s a magnificent thing for adults to think that they know all. How many times does that average child or teenager hear the words "your too young to know what love is." But they are sorely mistaken. Its something that anyone can feel and everyone has felt. Yes its used as a feeling towards family and friends but its something that is part of basic human health, To love and be loved in return. Sometimes you see kids (and it gets younger the older our generation gets) say they are in love in even elementary school. Sounds ridiculous but we naturally think as love as something that last forever. But love is just a heavy emotion for someone. Therefore yes, you can love at a young age. But that brings us back to the different types of meanings for Love. Love can be that burning emotion for someone but it can be slightly deluded to a little less extreme intensity which mostly occurs to be the word "crush," It’s a more simple and calmer meaning for love. So if a child says they love someone, don’t deny them, don’t destroy there feelings that are more than natural. Being in such a fucked up world that we happened to create, this is what they need the most. Some sense of hope and reasoning. Once your older but not yet an adult it becomes a game. The whispers of "is she dating so and so?" and "oh my god, there together again!" linger in the dry throats and crowded hallways of schools. You look at a popular group of girls and then you look at a popular group of boys and evaluate how many of them have been with each other. You must be in a specific social domain to be with someone. Popular and popular. Geek and Geek, emo and emo. Shame and destruction happens if any of that changes. Heaven forbid if a higher class boy dates a lower class girl then He is shunned from what he calls "friends" and the girl is praised for such an achievement. Two friends can be so close for so many years even as young as pre-school and a boy can destroy all of that. Jealousy and hate are like wasps just waiting for their victim. People start to date someone for a few days and there being silly enough to celebrate one week, one month and two month anniversaries! Which was originally copied from one year anniversaries from normal relationships commonly used in marriage? The word love is commonly used as a word to get in bed with someone, just to fuck them and then its over and it sadly happens more than should be seen. Break ups cause drama that can fuck up your life. Nothing permanent but it sure can ruin you "high school days." These "relationships," can cause one disease most common in teenagers. Depression. It can hurt so badly and it’s hard to be brought back from the depths of thought. Love is something that can fuck with you and I guarantee that it will. You cannot escape it and it will find you. If you are lucky you will find someone to say you love. Someone that will hold you and be with you. Someone that will talk to you when you cry and let you. Someone honest enough to tell you that you look big in that dress or laugh till three in the morning with. And someone that you can lay in their arms for hour and not a word would be said and its ok. To look into their eyes and see who they are and who they’re not. A person who loves you when you lay on the couch with a jug of chocolate ice cream when the tears won’t stop falling from your exhausted eyes. Who deals with your monthly mood swings and thinks your amazing when you’re angry. Someone who isn’t afraid to tell you that there sorry or there wrong. The list could go on for pages of someone perfect that we all wish we could have but sadly never seem to find. The brightest stars are too far to reach but sometimes the duller ones are the best. There real and they know how to live and make mistakes. We are human and love is just as important as breathing.

It will fuck you up and it will save your life.

Depends on how you choose it to go.

Be careful because its stronger then you can imagine.

Change and acceptance

Change and Accpetance

now, I was spending my night looking up random videos and I came across a video about tanning in a booth, outside or sprayons. Well she starts going on about this one product she is trying to advertise about a spray at home tanning kit that is healthy and safe and amazing. good for her for doing something better but she starts going off on other products and the comparison, she even gets quotes from cancer society websites about tanning and she tells you the truth about skin cancer. So as she is mumbling away, (oh by the way she is a blonde hollywood girl who seem's to happy and says he word "like" way to much) She starts to talk about the color or tanning and about her generation. She mentions she is twenty one years old and her "generation" loves tanning, and then she throws out the words saying "we all wanna be darker."

Well then im sitting there and I start to think about what she had just said. She admitted to wanting to be darker, not white. everyone hates to be white but think about how hypcrital that is. I mean, how long ago were we segregating people for being darker? and even to this day we continue to do that very thing. And not just the black folk either, mexicans, indians. most of the time a lot of white people will look at them and assume the worst. The blacks and mexicans get it worse. It was even a dillema with the voting, nominating and electing president Obama to rule our country because he is half black. Well that very "shade" that Obama is, well thats a color of "tan" that a lot of us hope to achieve. So this young women subconciously is admitting her contradiction on our judgement on the darker folks of this country for centurys. Now Im starting to think that, Yes we always have said that it was the color of their skin that we feared and they were naturally born evil people. (now remember when im saying this, im referring to back when it was a little more extreme) We knew that darker skin was just not right. But now a days we tend to flee away from being white and want to change. But as americans the want to change is actually the fear of change or difference. At one point we hated darker people, now they are among our society and sadly as americans a lot of us do not appreciate the variety. Im not saying we are racial and all or even any of us do not like darker people, im saying that we dont like change, and this being change and difference, we addapt. If we are tanner, darker and closer to the "color" of the majority of our people, we are safe. Also think about terrorists. We see a man with a tan skin color with a beard, and inside we think about terrrorist after everything america has been through. But then you look to your other side and there is a white man with the same beard. So thus the color of the mans skin is what makes us worry for our saftey. But his color is the exact color that teenage girls spray on their bodies a week before prom. Is that right.

America is afraid to be different. everyone is conforming to eachother so no one is the "odd" one of the bunch. This takes me to another bothersom topic amongst this ganre. How ensecure we are with ourselves. Why cant be appreciate the color of our skin. Weather we are black or white or brown or tan we are all different and its rediculous how nearly everyone is trying there hardest to be like everyone else. Even darker people such as blacks tan themselves. They say it to have a better skin complection or a more golden glow. Well that is complete bull shit. (excuse my language) Everyone knows its miserable to change for society. perfect example is prom. Every teenage girl going to prom wants to tan so they can look good. or tan there legs so they can wear shorts or a bikini. Well different shades do not change who you are or the beauty of yourself. White, brown orange or black, natural or fake it shouldnt be necessary that our human kind has figure out a way to change our appearance.

And that leads me to another topic of our need to change who we are through perminant procedures. Plastic surgury, liposuction, tattoo's. humans have created some of the most deadliest diseases out there and there not weapons, wars or technologys. There our need to be perfect. our self esteem level smashed to pieces by the media and who controlls how someone looks. as a group people decided that to "tan" it looked good or cool. A new hair style or type of clothing was hip. Well you think that its important to be as perfect as possible, weather is spending money on plastic surgury because you cant just appreciate who you are or its throwing away your money on a pair of clothing or shoes that ten years down the road you will realize you looked like a fool.

So my point is, stop judging, stop changing and stop conforming to everyone else.

being an inidividual is so highly looked upon but maybe thats because no one knows how to fallow it. We think we are individuals but we are not. We dream of that and only that.

another thing, we all do it, we all did it and we will all continue it. Im not a hypocrit for doing everything I just stated for being so wrong, I am merely stating the truth and that if we realize it maybe we can together change it. Until then, go buy your new shoes, get plastic surgery if you really need to but keep in mind, you ever complain or claim yourself as an individual, think before you speak.

think before you judge because who knows, maybe someday it might be "cool" to be albino white. becaue just as darker people we once judged them and now we are trying to be like them. and someday we will become everything we once hated. history proves it more then well that we fallow a pattern of trying to "fit in" to society, think about it
